Naked Woman Leads KC Cops on 20 Mile High Speed Chase, With Kids in Back Seat!

It all started with a report of a drug-crazed woman running through an apartment complex naked in Kansas City. By the time cops got there, the alleged streaker had jumped into a car and lead officers on a high speed chase through city streets for more than 20 miles, at one point nearly hitting a police officer who was putting down the "stop sticks" in the street to slow her down. Ultimately, officers were able to pull her over, only to find her two kids, 6 & 8, in the back seat of the car with her! We can only imagine the conversation going on in the car during that drive! At times, the chase reached speeds of 80 mph. Police said the woman nearly hit an officer, who was putting down stop sticks in the road. The chase ended when the woman's front tire was shredded from running over stop sticks.
When police caught up with her, they discovered she had two sons in the back seat, ages 6 and 8. The boys are staying with a family member.
"We want to get the car stopped, especially when you've got somebody high on narcotics. Her behavior was very erratic. And the kids did not appear to be seatbelted in," Kansas City police Capt. Donna Greenwell said. "We were in fear she might have gotten into a serious accident with those kids."
The woman had put on some clothes by the time she was arrested.
