Waukesha West High School is warning parents about the dangers of teens sending nude photos after pictures of a 14-year-old girl were distributed through school. An automated message told parents to check their child's cell phone and computer for inappropriate photos. Waukesha Police say a 14-year-old girl and her teenage boyfriend, both students at Waukesha West, exchanged sexually explicit photos via cell phone. When the two broke up, the boyfriend emailed those nude pictures to other teens.
Capt. Mark Stigler says the pictures kept spreading until 100 students or more saw them. Now the police department is pursuing possible felony child pornography charges against the teens who distributed those photos. “If you have it on your phone, if you’ve, God forbid, downloaded onto your home computer, delete it right now or we at the Waukesha police department are going to come after you," he warned.
