UMass Computer Administrator Accused of Hacking Students Facebook Accounts, Obtaining Naked Pictures

What? College students are putting naked pictures of themselves on their private Facebook accounts? Say it isn't so! Here's more from WPRI:

A Dartmouth man is charged with hacking into the email accounts of 16 female UMASS Dartmouth students to obtain nude and semi-nude photos of the women.

Robert T. DeCampos Jr., a UMASS graduate and the school's on-campus computer administrator, is also accused of hacking into the students' Facebook accounts to obtain the pictures. DeCampos, 30, was released on personal recognizance after his arraignment Monday in New Bedford District Court. He was charged with 13 counts of unauthorized access to a computer and a single felony count of larceny over 250 dollars.

Police searched DeCampos' apartment on Russells Mills Road and found a flash drive containing photos of the women. Police said DeCampos allegedly obtained the pictures over a two-day period in October by hacking their Facebook accounts.

Police said they also found a wireless webcam they confirmed belonged to DeCampos' department at UMASS Dartmouth, and attempted "upskirt" photos of unsuspecting women. Police said those photos were were taken with a hand-held PDA device at Best Buy, where DeCampos worked part time.
