Who wears flesh-toned underwear when they know their skirt will be flying up? That would be Venus Williams, one of the hottest women on the professional tennis circuit. It's a classic "What were they thinking?"

That outfit Venus Williams wore in the first round of the French Open was all ''about illusion'', the American said after defeating Patty Schnyder 6-3, 6-3.  Spectators in the stands at Court Suzanne Lenglen yesterday gasped as Williams's short dress flew up during play.

But it was some type of skin-toned underwear.  "The outfit was about illusion, and that's been a lot my motif this year, illusion," Venus, who turns 30 next month, dreamily told reporters.
