A nude Tinton Falls man was arrested this morning after police responded to a report of a naked man running on Deputy Minister Drive, police said. Police received a 911 call at 6:52 a.m. on Wednesday from a caller reporting a man was running around in the nude on Deputy Minister Drive, according to Detective Sgt. Joesph Whitehead.
When police arrived on the scene, a nude Samuel Walls, 19, of Sycamore Avenue in Tinton Falls, was running through a wooded area off Deputy Minister Drive and onto the Due Process Golf Course, Whitehead said.
After a brief foot-chase, Walls was apprehended by Patrolman Morgan Savage and arrested with the assistance of Whitehead on charges of lewdness, resisting arrest and trespassing, Whitehead said.
