The strange part of this story is not that this guy was naked, but that somehow he was going to "borrow" a neighbor's riding lawnmower, somehow load it into the trunk of his Oldsmobile, and do this all in the middle of the night. Surprisingly, drugs WERE invovled.

Deputies said at least three separate homes on a dead end street had chairs positioned below windows and screens removed as if to enhance the ability to ‘peep’ into the homes.
Suddenly the deputies said they saw a man, who appeared to be nude, run from the shed in which he had been hiding and “streak” out across a field. The man scaled a fence made from tin and fled into a thickly wooded area. Deputies ordered the man, identified as Jason D. Clayton of Denham Springs, to stop, but when he did not, they sent in a K-9 dog, who made the apprehension.
At one of the homes where a screen had been removed a woman told Deputies that she had been awake and was working on her computer. She said she heard a noise, got up to investigate and saw a man run out the door. He left so quickly she was unable to see what he was wearing. The woman later identified Clayton as the intruder.
The man told Deputies that he had taken a “party mix” of drugs earlier that night and that he was going to “borrow” the lawn mower and return it when he was finished cutting his grass. Deputies were puzzled as to how he was going to load this 500 pound riding mower into his 1997 Oldsmobile. They also found his clothes strew about the inside of the car.
