New Zealand Teacher "Deregistered" After Appearing Naked in Penthouse - Rachel Whitwell

Rachel Whitwell is an attractive woman and proud of her body. So proud, in fact, she posed naked for Penthouse magazine. Which would be fine, except that later on she decided to become a teacher in New Zealand where the are, apparently, not enthusiastic about her past modelling career. So, what to do? Take away her teaching certificate, that's what! Now she won't have anything to cover up with, poor girl.

Rachel Whitwell was investigated by the New Zealand Teachers Council (NZTC) after a member of the public complained her actions had brought the profession into disrepute.  Ms Whitwell was featured in the New Zealand and Australian editions of Penthouse in "various states of undress, including totally naked".

One picture showed her draped over an old fashioned school desk.

The magazine quoted Ms Whitwell as saying: "I am submissive in the bedroom because during the day I have to be in control in the classroom."  In submissions to NZTC's complaints assessment committee, Ms Whitwell said Penthouse was a lawful publication and she had done nothing illegal.  She said she was not working as teacher when she posed for the photographs.

"I simply modelled for some photographs in my role as a model, not as a teacher.

"Even if I was teaching I do not believe that you or the NZTC has any right to impose Victorian moral opinions on my life outside the classroom."

Naked Crazy Man Hijacks, Wrecks Ambulance Before Being Caught

Cops aren't sure what drug Christopher Halverson took before they were called, but it must have been some pretty good stuff because the psychotic episode he had led to one wild ride. It's a long story, but basically Halverson's parents called cops after he started roaming their Albuquerque neighborhood naked, jumping the neighbor's roofs. Cops had to both beanbag AND Taser the 27-year-old before they could get him into an ambulance for transport to a hospital. Of course, the officers thought the paramedics should strap him down, but they disagreed.

Officer Robert Gibbs said the officers finally gained control of Halverson. However, both Albuquerque police and Albuquerque fire crews still recommended that Albuquerque Ambulance Service staff restrain the patient before taking him to the hospital.  “His behavior was unpredictable,” Gibbs said

Albuquerque Ambulance spokesperson Pam Bengel said the crew decided not to. “At the time of transport he was cooperative so the restraints were not used,” Bengel said. “We would rather not restrain people if they're being calm and cooperative.”

Bengel said a few blocks away Halverson overpowered the paramedic riding in the back with him, then crawled through a tiny window leading to the cab and kicked the driver out. A short time later Halverson wrecked the ambulance and ran off.  “He was naked essentially and was running around in the area and took us a couple of hours to locate him,” Gibbs said.
